How it Works
The TH-260D1 is an air source heat pump water heater that absorbs heat from the outside environment and transfers it to water, heating it up very efficiently. It is like a fridge working in reverse. While the unit is powered by electricity, the electrical input does not generate heat but instead, moves the free heat to the water. Heat pump water heaters are incredibly energy efficient compared to other forms of heating. Government agency EECA (Energy Efficiency Conservation Authority) has listed heat pumps as one of the most energy efficient forms of heating in New Zealand.
